JCrew Youth Leaders Charlie & Christy Friend
The teen years mark a key transitional stage in life. Moving from childhood to adulthood is an upheaval! But God uses times of change to bring great growth. That’s where the Student Ministries staff comes alongside parents—helping young men and women know God intimately, read His Word accurately, share and defend their faith, serve others, and develop deep relationships.

Connecting Points for Youth:

Sunday Morning Programs (Meet @ 10:00 am):

  • JCrew: A time where issues that affect today’s youth are discussed and align those issues against the Word of God. (Ages 13-20)

Wednesday Evening Programs (Dismisses from Main Sanctuary):

  • Jr. High: A time where teenagers who are about to enter High School get together to talk about what to expect and how to best equip themselves for their future. (7th & 8th graders, Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month.)
  • JCrew Takes Over: Every 1st Wednesday of the month, the JCrew youth group leads the service in song, drama, and teaching the Word of God. If you have talents, we will find a place for you.

CLC Choir:

  • A joyous time to come together as a group to worship God through song and instrument. Choir practices meet 1 Saturday per month. To join the choir, you may inquire by emailing Janet McClary @ jmcclary@clcheath.com or by calling 740-323-3624.

Special Events:

  • We have several fun youth activities throughout the month designed for youth to grow friendships with other Godly young people. See our Events Calendar

Classroom Locations:

Most classes meet in the JCrew house next to the main sanctuary.
