WEEKLY CONNECT

January 11, 2026

Whether you’re planning to join us in person or online this Sunday, we’re so glad you’re part of the CLC family! We trust that you will be blessed during our service. Christian Life Center is a church where you are welcome, you belong, and you can become. We exist to restore community by building Christ-centered families. Our mission is to make disciples who know Jesus, grow in faith, and discover purpose.

A WORD FROM PASTOR

It’s the second Sunday of 2026, and I am continuing to focus on the vision that God has entrusted to us: “CLC is a church where you are welcome, you belong, and you can become. We exist to restore community by building Christ-centered families. Our mission is to make disciples who know Jesus, grow in faith, and discover purpose.” That vision isn’t just inspirational language or church cliché. It’s a divine mandate and a call to action.

God is calling all of us to a place of complete surrender and total commitment in seeing this vision fulfilled. The Apostle Paul declared (1 Cor 12:12–27), the church is one body with many members. No one is unqualified. No one is left out. No one is exempt. Every person has a place, a purpose, and a responsibility in the kingdom of God and in this church.

But this isn’t just about all of us. It’s about all of me. The early church modeled what full devotion looks like (Acts 2:44–47). Those first century believers were unified in heart, generous in spirit, and completely sold out to God’s cause. They lived fully-committed lives, and God responded by adding daily to the church.

So, the question is simple and personal: are we merely involved, or are we all in? When all of us give all of ourselves, God does extraordinary things.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

en•vision Moment

God has been incredibly faithful to our church over the past twenty-two months during the en•vision campaign. The generous, sacrificial investment of our church family is producing real fruit, and we’re excited to begin this new year with a moment worth celebrating. Join us for cookies and fellowship following both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services as we rejoice together in what God has done. We want to hear your story! If you—or someone you know—have experienced God’s provision while giving toward en•vision, we invite you to share that testimony by emailing testimony@clcheath.com. Your story matters and encourages faith in others. If you have any questions or want more information about the en•vision campaign, our team will be available at the en•vision table in the upper-level foyer. Let’s celebrate God’s goodness—together.

21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

We are beginning this new year with an intentional spiritual focus, including 21 days of prayer and fasting from January 5-25. A prayer guide and Bible reading resources are available at the Welcome Center in the upper-level foyer, as well as on our members webpage: www.clcheath.com/members. Check it out, and let’s all commit to the journey! Fasting is a spiritual discipline that helps us quiet the flesh, sharpen our spiritual focus, and pray in alignment with the will of God. Over the next 21 days, commit to fast in some form—whether food, media, social media, caffeine, or anything else your flesh craves. Scripture reminds us that certain breakthroughs “can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting” (Mark 9:29 NKJV). And Paul challenges us to “let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves” (Galatians 5:16 NLT). Through prayer and fasting we are preparing for the miraculous manifestation and supernatural provision that only God can provide.

Communio Survey

At Christian Life Center, we exist to restore community by building Christ-centered families. As part of that mission, we’ve partnered with Communio to help strengthen relationships and family life at CLC. Before launching new ministries and experiences, we want to listen. A brief, anonymous Relationship Health Survey was emailed last week. Today is the last day to complete that survey. We’re inviting everyone ages 18 and older to complete . It takes about 3 minutes and can be completed on your phone during weekend services or online using the link below. Thank you for helping shape the future of family life at CLC.

Discover

Now that you’ve been here, are you wondering what the next step is? Discover is the answer! This is a three-week course in which you will learn more about our church, New Testament salvation, and the many ways you can be involved here at CLC. The class takes place every Sunday at 10:30 AM in the Youth Chapel (lower level). We look forward to meeting you and helping you discover all that God has for your life!
