Whether you’re planning to join us in person or online, we’re so glad you’re part of the CLC family! We trust that you will be blessed during our service. Christian Life Center is a church where you are welcome, you belong, and you can become. We exist to restore community by building Christ-centered families. Our mission is to make disciples who know Jesus, grow in faith, and discover purpose.
A WORD FROM PASTOR ENSEY
October is Missions Month at CLC! Throughout this month, we have been focusing on the mission of the church locally, throughout North America, and around the world. We believe in the mission, we love the mission, and we are committed to fulfilling the mission through both our personal involvement and our financial investment.
Today is All Nations Sunday, and our focus is on the global mission of the church! Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. That commission is just as relevant and urgent today as it was when Jesus first gave it. We believe that every nation, every culture, and every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel and experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
We are living in an extraordinary season of global revival and harvest! The United Pentecostal Church International now has more than 6 million constituents worldwide, with 51,045 ministers and 49,055 churches. Our fellowship has established works in 203 countries, plus numerous territories, with 1,291 missionaries serving around the world. Here in North America, we have 12,578 credentialed ministers and 5,241 churches, including daughter works and preaching points. Last year alone, 229 new churches were planted in the United States and Canada, marking the fourth consecutive year of planting at least 200 new churches!
The reports of revival are remarkable! Through the global ministry of the UPCI, an average of 583 people are baptized in Jesus' name and 707 receive the gift of the Holy Ghost every single day! An estimated one million people have received the Holy Ghost in the past three years. And we believe the greatest harvest is still ahead! Our global vision is Pentecost Every Day, believing for 3,000 people to receive the Holy Ghost daily, just as they did on the Day of Pentecost. That would mean more than one million people receiving the Holy Ghost in a single year!
At CLC, we are committed to being part of this global harvest through prayer, missions trips, and the sending and supporting of missionaries. Our financial investment includes monthly Partners in Missions (PIMs) commitments, special missions projects, and our annual I AM GLOBAL offering. We currently provide monthly financial support to 50 missionaries ministering in 52 countries around the world! Through these partnerships, we are helping take the Gospel to places we may never personally go and reaching people we may never personally meet.
Next Sunday, October 25, we will conclude Missions Month by receiving our annual Faith Promise commitments to support missions locally, throughout North America, and around the world. Faith Promise is an expression of our faith in God and our commitment to His mission. We are trusting Him to provide the resources necessary to fulfill the promises we make as we invest in His kingdom purpose. We will be making both a one-time financial commitment to be fulfilled by December 31 and a monthly commitment beginning in November.
The mission is global, and every one of us has a part to play! We are not simply celebrating what God is doing around the world. We are participating in it! Through our prayers, personal involvement, and financial investment, we are helping fulfill the Great Commission and making an eternal difference.
The whole Gospel to the whole world by the whole church. Together, we can reach our world!
